Dear Ms. Elliott:
We were married on December 30, 2006, at our favorite place, The Springville Inn, where we were introduced by Carleen Kemmerling two and a half years ago. We would like to share our experience and recommend the Inn to those who may have a special event forthcoming.
The ambience, special setting and excellence of service of The Springville Inn are well known to all of us who frequent the area. Planning a little in advance, we were able to reserve all the rooms at the Inn for our out-of-town guests. Similarly, Carleen arranged for us to retain the beloved musical talents of both Patty Torrey and Jimmy Turner, for which the Inn is also well known.
All of the details were meticulously and thoughtfully arranged by Innkeeper, Carleen, and her very capable managers, Thea Widener and Hobie Froelich. They thought of everything—even the decorations and pictures—and took all the stress of planning a wedding off our shoulders! The event came off without a hitch, and every one of our guests commented on some facet of the festivities, from the culinary skills of Chef Jose Gonzalez, to the usual and impeccable service of Erin Hanger, Melissa Sahagun, and Cori Mitchell.
Carleen even arranged for fruit baskets and wine in all the guest rooms. As an added serendipity, since the Inn is also a “Bed & Breakfast,” we were able to join our over-night guests for a delicious brunch both Saturday and Sunday mornings. All in all, it was a magical experience!
